Abstract .

It is important to achieve a “zero-emission rural society”. Suitable technologies for reusing and recycling waste products as resources therefore need to be developed, such as our proposed “carbonization” technique. This report outlines some properties of carbon products, and the results of their application for soil amendment. Finally, the general concept of a zero-emission society in a rural area based on carbonization is proposed.

Keywords: carbon products, soil amendment, zero-emission, waste treatment
