A Chris Adam Kiln retort which was built a year ago at the Kenyan Coast.
They are using it 3x a week to carbonize coconut shells and it seems to work well.

This site is dedicated to the processing of bio fuel and the kiln being used to produce charcoal from coconut shells in Kenya. Details of the advantages of using bio fuels like coal based charcoal are provided and by substituting bio fuels for fossil fuel the benefits of harmful emissions in the atmosphere are reduced, effective costs and environmental friendly applications are elaborated.
